... utensils Veritas cooked , the smell entranced some guards to congregate to him. “If you’re hungry feel free to eat, food always tastes better when shared with others,” he grinned on the outside, yet cried inwards at the loss of materials. “Please eat, also, while waiting hand me your armors and weapon I’ll fix them for you,” he announced. Veritas went around fixing their items, while Rus played with the guards. As the night wore the female guard approached him, “My name’s Yggi and thanks for earlier,” she said holding a locket. Seeing her gesture he asked, “What’s in that locket?” Opening it he saw a young boy and an older man, “My family.” A serious expression crossed his face, he said, “Yggi as long as Rus and I are here we shall promise all of you will go back to your families alive and well.” “Woof,” Rus agreed. He got up, “We’re going for walk Rus.” Making an excuse to Captain Andrew he went to the forest with Rus on his shoulder. His quick thinking kept him alive at the cost of one of his katana. One more hit and he’d be dead. The bear approached him, Rus came to the rescue biting the beast’s back. All this did was annoy it as it flung Rus. Intercepting his companion in mid-air Veritas minimized the damage. Facing the bear his instinct told him to retreat. Activating Airstep he moved out of range. In his inventory he equipped his bow and a yellow arrow. Aiming it at the Bear he shot it. -Ding- Paralyzed (3sec) Wanting to ensure his escape he used Earth Molder binding him to the ground. Taking this time he fled back to the camp. He drank some health potion and gave some also to Rus. Sitting alone near the campfire his knees were shaking. Fear, of a virtual reality. No. Excitement. He’d found a goal, which he’d had to surpass. Reflecting on his actions he opened his inventory. He took out the daggers he gathered from the Goblins setting them in a pot he melted ...
