... on as soon as I finish talking to you, maybe half an hour until I leave here. Then four and a half hours to home," answered Drew, "Why?" Geoff looked at the time on his watch. It was ten thirty now. "I thought I'd pick up some pizzas in town on the way through and you and Dave could come over and join us for dinner. Jackson is a bit nervous about being with me in the company of other people. He doesn't realize it is okay to be gay with you and Dave. Anyway, we haven't had breakfast yet .We won't be leaving for a couple of hours. You will be home way before us. What do you say to dinner and drinks then?" "Sounds good. I will ring Dave and let him know. We will come over at about six then?" Drew asked. "Excellent idea. See you then," Geoff said, "Drive safely." Drew flipped his phone closed and picked up his overnight bag. He wouldn't bother to bring one next time he now had everything he needed at the apartment. There was no need to bring stuff from the farm. He actually felt that the high rise was partialy his home. He could just walk in and his life continued. Drew opened the passenger side door for her and waited for her to settle into the large leather front seat. He closed the door and skipped around to the drivers side. He had wanted to drive Dave's car since he had seen it after the repairs had been completed. He started the smooth eight cylinder engine and carefully negotiated his way out of the under ground car park. He had to take extra care with the clearance of the bikes on the garage roof. Once out and in the lane behind the apartment block, he gunned the engine and surprised himself with the acceleration that the big car had. He looked across to Tess and smiled. "I don't get to drive cars very often. Trucks and tractors are my usual, I'm going to enjoy this short trip," he said. Tess sat back and watched as Drew explored the performance that the machine was capable of. In what seemed no time at all Drew pulled to a halt behind a sheep transport truck that was stopped at the security hut in the entrance of the meat works. Tess now pinched her ...
