As I pulled into Kim’s driveway in my new Porsche to pick her up for a romantic getaway that I had booked at a mountain resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I was hoping this weekend would turn a corner in our relationship. We had been dating for a few months and, aside from some heavy petting, nothing else was happening. I watched her exit her house and couldn’t help but inhale sharply.
