    ... standing there in his boxers and going back into the bedroom was probably the best idea. &#034Okay,&#034 he smiled sheepishly. &#034Goodnight Carly.&#034 &#034Goodnight Freddie,&#034 Carly told him as he turned and walked down the hallway to the bedroom. &#034You guys have a strange relationship,&#034 Carly said smiling at Sam. &#034I know,&#034 Sam replied, smiling too. &#034That's why I think it may work,&#034 she took the last bite of her sandwich. &#034I love you Sam,&#034 Carly said as she reached over and gave her best friend a hug. &#034I would have given Freddie a hug too but he was, you know, half-naked.&#034 &#034I'll give him a hug for ya!'&#034 Sam said. &#034I love you too cupcake.&#034 &#034Sam, I'm really sorry for being all spazzy this afternoon when we talked on the bench.&#034 &#034It's okay, I understand,&#034 Sam told her. &#034Well I better get back in there. The nub will probably roll out of the bed if I'm not there to stop him.&#034 Carly laughed. &#034Alright. Still up for lunch tomorrow?&#034 &#034Yeah. Of course,&#034 Sam stood up and started walking back to her bedroom. &#034Goodnight k**.&#034 &#034Good night Sam.&#034 Carly let out a breath as she heard Sam close her bedroom door. It was true, she was happy for her and Freddie but she felt bad for herself. She stood up and walked into her bedroom and closed the door. She sat down at her dresser in front of huge mirror and stared at the reflection. &#034Your two best friends have gotten together. And you have not had a date since you left Seattle,&#034 Carly said to her reflection. She stared at herself for another few seconds and shook her head and laughed. &#034Maybe I just need to get laid.&#034 She stood up and undressed for bed. All her least favourite classes were tomorrow so she needed all the sl**p she could get.
