He said, "I don't care who knocked you up, I will be this childs father." Curtis knew of my pregnancy and that he might be the father. He and Derek talked about what to do in case he was. It was decided that if Curtis was indeed the father, he would have full visitation rights and he would be obligated to place $1,000 a month, in a trust to be used for college. Derek and I would have full custody of the child and he could spend weekends and summers with Curtis. My belly grew really big, Derek drove me to my appointment and stayed with me. Both men were very happy and I was glad for them both. The doctors now understood. The years were good to both families, the men and their businesses prospered. Derek hit it big with the partnership in Japan. His partners and him were offered a huge sum of money for the company, but they held off until the company went public. They then sold the company for billions and with our share, Derek and I never had to worry about money. We lived like we always lived, spending not much more than we did before. The boys grew like weeds. They always got a kick out of telling people they were twins and watching for their reactions. Curtis was always in both boys lives, taking them on vacations, fishing and such. When the boys were in high school they wanted a boat so they could water ski and wakeboard. The boys became very good at it too. Curtis and Derek split the cost and we used the boat for family fun also.
