Not one bit!&#034 Burton thought of hanging up. But he listened. &#034So you stay away from here, you hear me! My Ramona's not some kind of little tart that she can go around with married men who aren't going to give her nothing!&#034 And then Ramona's mother had hung up. What had happened was, Ramona had mentioned to her mother that she had a real mature boyfriend. And then little by little, Mrs. Flapper had wormed the details out of her daughter. The fact that he was thirty-five and married. &#034He's too old for you, and what you want to be going around with married men for anyways!&#034 Monica Flapper slapped her daughter's face. &#034Well, you go around with them all the time. Maybe I learned to do it at home!&#034 Ramona merited another slap for this disrespectful remark.
