She fled as the clock struck one An hour late, disguises done, Leaving behind, not a slipper or shoe But a bound prince sitting in the loo. You see, it was the princess upon whom she’d set her sights; Ginger haired beauty in gossamer tights That now lay discarded at the foot of the bed The beauty asleep, unaware that she’d fled. She giggled as she took the steps two at a time And cleverly toyed with the words in this rhyme: "You see, I’ve yet to get past the gate My own fault for leaving the princess so late But truly, though twas I who seduced her By whispering sweet nothings into her ear It’s her who now holds the key Once untamed, now I’ll never be free A prisoner of lust, of desire, of need After one simple dalliance in which we did the deed Already I’m planning on breaking back in Prepared to get lost in the temptations of sin Yes, my ginger haired princess has tamed me at last Damn her eyes, changed my mind, getting out of here fast And away on my horse, before I can weaken And fly back up the stairs, where she sleeps like a beacon With me but a moth, consumed by her flame Good god, don’t think that she is to blame For I would go willingly into her arms To stay there forever, lost in her charms And give up my days as a rake, oh so bold For my ginger haired princess who’s got such a hold Whose laughter and wit and soft soothing voice Are like a leash, leaving me no choice But to retrace my steps and climb back up her tower And bury my face in her blossoming flower And that’s how she’ll wake, with my kiss twixt her thighs Ah, sweet music to me, her passionate cries As she trembles and quakes, speared on my tongue My song turned to duet as she sings along."
