... sense as any-thing. This place doesn't have the cobwebs or other signs of disuse that I was expecting." "Certainly smells like it hasn't been cleaned in 100 years," Beck said, not earning any arguments on his first actual point of the night. "Smells like rot, and shit, and-" "Hold on," Freddie said, raising his fist to silence the others. "We have a problem." As the five flashlights all moved to spotlight what was in from of them, they saw that there was indeed a big problem. Three to be exact. There were three tunnels, each one seemingly earmarked with a different amount of dried brown, which they secretly hoped wasn't bl**d… but also not something far more putrid. "So we should split up…" Andre said, without doing the math first. "Oh…" "Yeah…" Freddie said, with a heavy sigh. "That means someone is going off by themselves." * * * "Any sign of her in there?" The former tech producer pushed ahead, shaking his head, and tried to refocus on finding Savanna rather than offering half-hearted reassurance. "I just want to find your daughter and get the hell out of here." Spencer didn't argue and followed the trail that they had chosen, ...
