... early 1900s, my great grandfather enjoyed good art and traveled through out the world to collect art and these tapestries." He leaned into me saying, "Personally, I am a little more modern than these pieces as you have seen in my room." He smiled. Every time he smiled butterflies danced around my belly and my heart did flip flops. As the doors to the dining room opened, the aroma that escaped from the room was delightful. Mr. King pulled out a high backed chair for me and helped me scoot the chair closer to the table. I was sitting on his left. He then went over to his right and pulled out another chair for Jenny and helped her towards the table. He seated himself without help and rang a little bell by his chair. I looked around and all of a sudden there was a flurry of waiters bringing out plates and setting them in front of us. They did their job without speaking, and Mr. King only nodded to them when they had finished. "In your honor, we are having Washington elk for dinner this evening, my Dove. I do not know if you have ever had elk before? You will find it tastes a lot like beef but with a gamey flavor. I sure hope you like it," he said as he reached over and put a forkful in my mouth. He looked around the room and finally his gaze fell on Mr King, then me, then back to Mr King. "I am...." the man started to say before King cut him off. "Dominic, mercenary, soldier for hire, bodyguard, the best in the business or so I hear." The man gazed back at King proudly, "Yes, that is me and all of that which you spoke of is correct," Dominic said confidently. "I have had you checked out, Dominic as I am looking for a security specialist for all of Sagamore Estate. The land which you are currently standing on, my land." Again pride bubbled from my King which made me smile. "Sir, you may call me Dom. I sensed a tone of arrogance in Dominic's voice. He continued, "I realize that I am standing on your land. Why do you need me? You seem well protected here. I saw the gates and wall when the car entered. "It would make me feel better to know that everything and ...
