Saturday morning. It was bright and sunny with a bit of snow on the ground. After breakfast I did my usual morning routine, starting with a shower. I got out, dried my hair, brushed my teeth, then commenced to putting on my face to prepare for the day ahead. With my makeup complete, I turned to my closet to pick an outfit. "Any suggestions?" I said cheerfully, glancing at my dog who has now taken my spot on the bed. I decided to be simple about the whole thing and just stick with something casual and comfy. I picked out an ivory colored, long sleeve, t-shirt style top with a deep 'V' neckline. For extra warmth, I wore my purple wrap sweater on top. I slipped on some socks and my favorite pair of jeans, then I grabbed my leather boots. Standing in front of my full body mirror I glanced back at my dog, "How do I look?". Including her recent separation from her husband and their ongoing divorce. "He cheated on me! The fucking bastard, how could he do that?! It was with some skank he met at a football game." Ava was practically screaming in frustration as she wiped the downpour of tears from her face. "How would you feel about me staying at your place for awhile?" "You know that you can stay whenever you like, Ava. My couch is always empty." I tried to comfort her and tell her that he's no good, and that she can do much better. What all girls say to girls that are going through a tough breakup. We shared a few laughs at her ex's, Mark's expense. Then we talked about all the things her and I used to do and we decided to spend the rest of the day recreating all the ...
