Why did I have to meet you? There is no rhyme or reason, Save for the fact that I love you. It is my deepest joy and most bitter agony In doing so. I cannot be with you. I can only love you from afar. I must hide my feelings In places no one else can find them. Muttering them in the dark, In the cold. I must wait for angel wings And heaven's gate before I let you know. I must stay away from you, Shivering in agony, alone.
