Things changed for me from that moment on and literally right after talking to Nancy, mommy started making new plans for the rest of our wednesday afternoon. After we finished shopping for some non perishable groceries we headed to the mall and when we arrived mommy started looking for a clothing store. Before we went inside the store mommy looked at me with a stern face and she said, "Gabriel, I want you to stay quiet unless I ask you to speak is that clear?" She walked us over to the girl section and she showed us a few colorful dresses that looked to be just my size. ... started taking off my shirt followed by my jeans, leaving only my diaper. Mommy put the dress on over my head as she stretched it down my body until it covered my waist and I saw that the bottom was like a short skirt that barely reached down to my knees. I looked at myself in the mirror and even I was shocked since I almost couldn't recognize myself thinking, "Who is that pretty little girl standing right there?..." But I quickly realized it was a reflection of myself staring back as I waived my hand to her and she waived back at the same time, then copying everything I was doing at the same time. Mommy looked at me saying, "Ohh... Wow! Gabriel... I mean Gabby you look so cute in that dress. I'm gonna take it so you can wear it on your birthday! Just wait til that boy's mom sees you again, she's gonna love seeing what a pretty little girl you are in that dress..." I thought, "Really, you think I look pretty, but... I'm gonna wear a dress on my birthday like a girl?" My mind wondered about all these things as she began taking off my new pink dress and she took me out of the changing room leaving my clothes inside since she was gonna have me try on some other girl clothes. I walked around with a bare chest and no pants on, only wearing a diaper as mommy took me by the hand looking for more stuff for me to try on.
