    Chapter One I had been sent out of town to work out some problems in another office. When I my flight arrived I was met by a woman from the local personnel office who introduced herself as Nicole. She explained that she would drive me to my hotel and then to work the next day. When we arrived at her place I opened the brandy and poured two healthy drinks while she rolled a joint. We settled in on the couch and she switched on the TV without any sound.
