Ann said she had invited Joe and Eve to come over for a weekend and stay in their van if they felt they had “laid their ghosts” and that she had explained why we never played on Sundays due to work on Mondays. ... spent a lot of time with Sam they were devoted companions, however Sam wanted, he confided to me, to be had by Alf so that could regularly have a companion when he finally got a place of his own. That did not seem to be unreasonably but he had tried in his room or the dungeon on the rare occasions when we had been out and he could not get the a****l interested at any price.
