I had seen stunning new friend Nicole, a slim sexy blonde mid 40s lady while at a resort island not far from my home. She was in a group of women that were all around her age, so it looked like a girls weekend away. All of the other women were wearing designer swimwear, expensive jewellery, bags etc. Clearly all had married well. All except my future friend Nicole. She was dressed like a fashionable mid twenties chick and was not sporting any diamonds or expensive brand names. She saw me watching her a couple of times and I caught her looking at me, which made her blush. I was with friends and family and was waiting on a club presentation, so I could do no more than observe her.

Once dinner was finished most of the family and friends said they were tired and headed back to their lodgings. I said I was tired as well and would call it a night, but had to speak to someone first.

When I got outside, I headed towards the live band sound and managed a glimpse of Nicole as she went into the Bar a few hundred yards ahead. I went into the band bar and ordered myself a beer, and remembered she had a drink that looked like coke and some spirit at the last place. She didn’t look like a bourbon girl, so I ordered vodka and coke for her.

I confidently walked over to her and passed her the drink. I spoke loudly into her ear “This is a Vodka and Coke, I’m hoping you will like that.: Nicole accepted the drink saying “Thank you, I used to drink Vodka coke, so great guess, but now I prefer Bacardi and Coke”.

I replied “I will get that next”

Her gaze was distracted over my shoulder and I turned to see 3 of her rich bitch friends approaching. They looked at my casual resort clothes and clearly made an assessment that I wasn’t the sort of man they wanted to see pick-up their friend. As they rudely pulled her away from me, she pulled me over and said in my ear “Sorry girls weekend, thanks for the drink. I’m on Tinder, find me there if you are smart. You look Smart”

When I got back to my room, I immediately downloaded Tinder and created a profile. I searched for people nearby and within 6 faces I saw her nearby. I requested to connect with her, but even though the app said she was online, she did not accept my request straight away. I eventually went to sleep feeling very disappointed.
