I had stayed in touch with Lisa via email and text. Her life seemed to be turning around. She even reached out to family she had not spoken to in years. Lisa asked me to lend her money to fly to see a family member at short notice. I lent her the money. Her trip was successful and she began to stay in touch with that family member. My girlfriend did not want to be living apart. I was living at the hobby farm construction site. She was down on the coast in the big house. One day my girlfriend just turned up at the hobby farm.
