    You are the

candle kissing and

caressing my dark

You are my balm

mingled with music

You are my song

that ends and begins

on my lips

Each of your kisses

a little miracle

all on its own

Each touch

a parable

all on its own

Today she showed

me a story

for she is at play

as I watch

The heat grows

between my eyes

and her fingers

She couldn’t stop

even if she wanted to

She became a cloud

gathering low in my sky

and the deluge of sin

whispering soft

upon my wet pages
