Our mouths broke apart and my sister rested her hear on my shoulder, my arms encircling her as the water poured over us. “I love you Zack.” She sighed into my ear. “I love you too Angie.” I replied, my tone almost as soft as her skin. I reached up to stroke her hair. After a minute, she leaned back slightly, relaxing into my arms and staring up into my eyes. Looking down at my sister, in my arms, with the water streaming over us, the steam rising all around, and the knowledge that the experiences we had shared this weekend would go on to shape both of us, was probably the most perfect moment of my life so far. Eventually, as with all moments, this one came to an end. “This was one fantastic weekend. You know that?” Angie smiled as she said it. “Obviously, I was there.” “I hadn’t noticed.” She replied dryly. “You know, what we are doing is technically wrong. Maybe we should stop.” I managed maintain a straight face for almost a quarter of a second as I said it. We both burst out laughing at the notion. “Thanks for everything this weekend bro. I love you.” She kissed me, just once, lightly, on the cheek. It was a sisterly kiss. [Epilogue: First of all, thank you all who read this, and thanks again to those who gave feedback. Again, I am sorry this installment took so long. This was from some time ago, and what has happened since then is the subject of another story that I don’t think I will be sharing. We are still together. I believe I shall retire from writing after this.
