Right about this time I could hear running feet coming. I pulled away and pulled the girl so that she was behind me. Two male officers and one woman officer stopped and spread out with clear lanes of fire if they needed to draw and shoot. I could see that they were LA county sheriffs and they looked nervous. I turned and looked at the girl and told her to go stand about 20 feet away so that if anything went south that she might not be hurt. Being the cops they are, they started barking orders, like get on the ground now all I could think was here we go again. I turn my head and look over at the girl and can see that she’s starting to cry again, that just about breaks my heart. I tell her its ok and not to worry it will be ok. One of the cop grabs my hands while he’s got his knees in my back, shit that hurts, I’m just trying to follow their orders and not resist so they can get off me. I know this is SOP but for fucks sake3 on one??? After they get the cuffs on me and lift me into a sitting position. Then the questions start. I look over and see that the female officer is talking to the girl, she leads her away from me and the girl keeps looking at me as she’s walking away, I give her a smile and a wink. She smiles then and she knows I’m ok. I turn back to the cop in front of me, I tell him what I saw and then how I reacted and then the aftermath of my actions, I left out the part where I come back and stomped the kid in the nuts again, that might have seemed like over kill to the cops. I knew I was in trouble and didn’t want to add more to it. I also told them that there was 2 others that ran off after they seen their homies lying out on the ground.
