I have no idea what just happened. I look at the bag in my hand. "I'm terribly sorry, I really can't afford this. I was just browsing." I apologize to the clerk. "That's all been taken care of, Miss." the clerk replies. "Enjoy." "Oh! Well, I may need to exchange for another size. Let me check." "That would surprise me.
