... Winter could lay her cold blanket of snow upon the mountains and forests of this wonderful land making more beautiful and awe inspiring than ever. I slowly dressed and put on my warm coat then stood and looked out through the falling flakes of snow at the beautiful castle below. I had met my challenge and all was as it should be. As I walked back down the mountain path, picking my way carefully through the ever thickening blanket I knew that after all these visits over so many years, my feelings had been correct. This beautiful Alpine village and it's castles along with the Alpsee and it's crystal clear alpine waters truly are magical!
