I’m amazed at how well she can dance after barely finishing lessons. We haven’t gone to any more out of town dances yet however. We’ve decided to wait until after we announce our engagement to the club, which we’re both anxious to do. Jacqui and I have talked about our own wedding, but haven’t decided on a date yet. My parents know I’m seeing Jacqui, but not to the extent that we’re together. They still think I’m living in mine and Michelle’s house, although they know I’m getting it ready for sale. I don’t want them to think that she’s simply a rebound romance for me. I want enough time that they’ll accept her for who she is, rather than a girl who merely caught my eye because I was lonely. We’re thinking about a wedding, maybe early next spring. I don’t know if that’s too soon, but we don’t want to wait longer than that. I don’t have much experience in these things, but we’re both eager to make our love for each other permanent and known to all our friends. Okay, back to Michelle’s wedding. We agreed to spend Friday and Saturday nights in Michelle and Mike’s house. We planned on driving to Seattle Friday evening, both of us leaving work around three, so we wouldn’t be too late.
