    They said, that love was meant to last forever, they lied. They said, we would be together until the end of time, they were wrong. You said, you loved me, you lied. You said, that you could never live without me, you were wrong. She said, she was just a friend, she lied. She said, she would never love you, but she did. I said, you would never leave me, I was wrong. I said, you loved me, I was mistaken. They said, you will forget, they spoke the truth. They said, it will get better, they were right. You said, the pain is only temporary, and it was. You said, you will find someone else, and I have. She said, I love him, she spoke the truth. She said, there will never be anyone else for me, she was right. I said, the pain is gone, I spoke the truth. I said, I have moved on, and I’m glad. He said, I am sorry for your pain, he was honest. He said, give me a chance, and I have. I said, I do, and it has worked. He said, I do, and proved it. They said, love isn’t meant to last forever, they were wrong. They said, seize the moment, and we did. We said, until forever, and it was.
