So Kara wants another baby. ================CHAPTER ONE, PART FOUR============================ That friday afternoon, things were soon back to normal. We decided to wait until Angie feels better enough so that all six of us can still go out and do our thing. In the meantime, Kara and Riley wanted to go back down to the main floor and go to the huge gift shop near the main lobby. So while the ladies were doing that, they wanted us to call up the other housekeepers to spiff up all three of our rooms. So while we were waiting, Tim and I played gim rummy. Dennis came back over and wanted to chat with us. "So how's Angie holding up?" I asked. "She's doing much better," Dennis said. "I think within the next hour or so, she'll be ready. It may've been the pizza and whatever she had to drink last nignt after all." "Mark and I were gonna play gin rummy," Tim said. "But now that you're here, I figured maybe we play a little poker until both the ladies come back from the gift shop." "That's awfully nice of you," Dennis said. "But Angie wants me to finish watching a movie with her." "Okay, no problem," I said. "But keep us posted." "Alright, I will," Dennis said. "Talk to you guys in a bit." "Okay, see you," Tim said. And so Dennis went back down to finish watching the movie with Angie. So Tim and I flipped through the channels until we came across the weather station. And to our disappointment, the weather won't let up until tomorrow afternoon sometime. "Man, this sucks!" Tim said. ...

... "Tell me about it," I said. "I wonder what we're gonna do for your birthday tomorrow." "I'm sure we'll think of something," Tim said. "Maybe the forecast will change, you never know." And so we turned to one of the sports stations, but all they were doing was a complete rundown of the highlights from the day before. Then we turned to a movie channel where there happened to be a good action flick on, so we watched. The movie went on for another 45 minutes. But I saw the movie before in its entirety. so I knew it was good. Then the phone rang, so I snswered it, "Hello?" "Hello Mark, it's Wayne," "Oh, hey. What's up?" I said. "Not a whole hell of a lot," Wayne said. Is Tim in here with you guys?" "Yes, he is," I said. "You need to talk to him?" "Yeah, put him on please," Wayne said. And so I handed the phone over to Tim. They must've talked for only a handful of minutes before he hung up. Then he says to me, "Well, that sucks." "Why, what's going on?" I asked. "Well," Tim said, "they're already heading back." "How come?" I asked. "I thought they weren't coming back till sometime this evening." "Well, Wayne said it's a rather long story, " Tim Said. "He said if we all wait for them, they'll join us when we go out together." And so this wet, dreary day may not be somewhat of a wash-out after all.
